City Palace Complex is considered to be the most attractive tourist destination of the beautiful city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan.         

Construction

The establishment of the City Palace in Udaipur started in the 16th century.
The idea of ​​establishing the City Palace was given by a saint to Rana Udai Singh. Thus this complex is a group of buildings built over 400 years.

Features

It is a grand complex. 22 Kings contributed towards its construction.
It has seven arcs. These arches symbolize the seven commemorations when the king was weighed with gold and silver and gold and silver equal to his weight were distributed among the poor. The wall in front of it is called 'Agad'. Here there was a game of elephant fighting. 
 As soon as you enter the campus, you will see the grand 'Tripolia Gate'.

Mor Chowk is another such place whose walls are decorated with various blue colored pieces made of peacock glass. Beyond this is 'Fatah Prakash Bhawan' and 'Shiv Niwas Bhawan' in the south direction. Presently both have been converted into hotels.

  It has now been declared a Government Museum. At present Shambhu Niwas is the residence of the royal family. There is a ticket to enter this complex. You can enter this complex by taking a ticket from Badi Paul.
